1. Scope and entity
This Policy applies to the websites and services operated by Quotient Research, Inc., including quotient.social and trade.quotient.social. It does not apply to independent websites, trading venues, or services linked from our sites.
2. Information collected
We collect information you provide, such as messages and support requests. Access uses wallet-based authentication: we collect the public wallet address you sign in with and read its on-chain token balance to administer access; both are recorded with your account. We may also collect device and browser information, IP address, log and usage data, and saved preferences. We do not collect payment-card information and cannot access wallet private keys or move funds.
3. Sources
We collect information directly from you, automatically from your browser or device, from public blockchain records (wallet addresses and token balances), and from providers that support authentication, hosting, communications, and site operations. If you subscribe through Substack, Substack handles that subscription under its own privacy practices.
4. Uses
We use personal information to create and authenticate accounts, deliver Quotient Signals, verify and administer token-gated access, respond to requests, maintain security, prevent fraud and misuse, operate and improve our services, remember preferences, send requested communications, and comply with legal obligations.
5. Disclosures
We may disclose personal information to service providers that support authentication, payments, hosting, communications, security, and site operations. We may also disclose information to professional advisers, government authorities when legally required, a successor in a corporate transaction, or another party at your direction.
6. Sale, sharing, and targeted advertising
Quotient does not sell personal information and does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising.
8. Retention
We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to provide our services, maintain account and transaction records, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. Retention depends on the information's nature, purpose, sensitivity, and applicable legal requirements. We delete or deidentify information when it is no longer reasonably needed.
9. Security
We use administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system or method of transmission can guarantee complete security.
10. State privacy rights
Depending on your location and applicable law, you may have rights to request access to, correction of, deletion of, or a copy of personal information. You may also have rights concerning the sale or sharing of personal information, targeted advertising, sensitive information, and appeals. Quotient may verify your identity before completing a request and will respond as required by applicable law.
11. Children
Quotient's services are intended for adults and are not directed to anyone under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal information, please contact us.
12. International visitors
If you access the services outside the United States, your information may be transferred to and processed in the United States, where privacy laws may differ from those in your location. Quotient will use any safeguards required by applicable law.
13. Changes
We may update this Policy as our services or legal obligations change. We will post the revised Policy with a new effective date and provide additional notice of material changes when required by law.
14. Contact
